Our story
Ivevane Automation was founded in 2019 to support essential industries through advanced control systems and techniques. What began during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 shutdown has become an engineering practice trusted on production lines where downtime is measured in cost per minute.
At the heart of the approach is a hand-picked team of engineers whose experience spans decades of delivered projects. Every system is designed, installed and maintained to sit at the forefront of industry standards — and every solution is tailor-made to the operation it serves.
The practice is based at 1 Bentel Avenue, 1st Floor, Jansen Park, Boksburg 1459, and works across South Africa and internationally.

Founded during the shutdown
Ivevane Automation is established to support essential industries in the food and beverage space through the COVID-19 pandemic — at the moment those lines could least afford to stop.

Sumitomo Rubber, Ladysmith
Truck and bus radial tyre machine work delivered for Sumitomo Rubber South Africa, on plant that had outlived its documentation.

Ford Motor Company, Silverton
Chassis line treatment plant delivered to global OEM specification, with a complete functional safety case at handover.

Engineering exported. A chassis line treatment plant designed and factory-tested in Boksburg, then commissioned in central Mexico.

Understand before proposing
On inherited plant that usually means reverse-engineering what is actually installed. Proposing a solution to a system nobody has documented is guesswork.

Safety at design, not audit
Risk assessment, PL and SIL determination happen before the panel is built. A safety case assembled retrospectively for an audit is a safety case nobody believes.

Prove it before site
Factory acceptance testing and virtual commissioning. Faults found in a model cost hours; the same faults on a live line cost days.

Say what is true
If a project is not right for us, we say so. If a figure is not verified, we do not publish it. That is the same discipline that keeps a control system honest.
Independent by design.
Most integrators are a Siemens house or a Rockwell house. Being credible in both is what lets one engineering partner cover a mixed estate across sites.
